2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Short Bed / Long Bed / LS Short Bed / LS Long Bed

Selling my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab with the 8-foot bed. It has the dependable 4.3L V6 engine, rear-wheel drive, and approximately 156,500 miles.

This has been a reliable truck for me and runs and drives well. It was recently inspected (February), has a brand new battery, and the brakes were replaced about a year ago.

The truck does have a few known issues that are reflected in the price:

* Small rear main seal oil leak. It’s been this way for years and has not affected drivability. I simply check the oil level periodically and top it off as needed.
* Air conditioning is not working (likely a leak somewhere in the A/C system).
* Paint peeling on the hood and other cosmetic wear consistent with a 24-year-old truck.

Overall, this is a solid, dependable work truck that’s ready to be used. It would make a great truck for hauling, landscaping, home improvement projects, or as a reliable second vehicle.
