1966 AMC Ambassador Diplomat

2 door coupe

This car is almost completely factory original with no body rust. Original paint, glass, interior, wheels. Been garaged most its life. Has 129k miles on the stock 327 with holly 4 barrell. Has a borg warner flashomatic 3 speed column shift transmission.   Has power brakes and power steering.  Car runs great. Drives like an old car but does surprisingly well on the freeway. Have had it up to 80 and it rode smooth over all the crappy spots snoqualmie pass has to offer.  Just got back from driving it to maple valley to have it all retimed, the carb rebuilt and the points replaced and adjusted.  I have all the original Manuals, TSM, warranty card and book, plant order slip and dealership order slip with its upgrades and other receipts. 

Since I got the car it has a lot of new parts and I have kept all the original parts as well

Was already redone before I got it:

-Re appollstered  seats 
-New dual exhaust (needs some modifications) clunks around 

The bad:

-Has been in minor accident before I got it as you can see on the bumper, grill and passenger side fender. 

-Exhaust clunks around on bumpy roads 

minor oil and power steering leaks 

Overall this car is in great shape for how old it is and being all original.  Runs great. Clean title in hand. 12,500 obo price reflects minor repairs needed. These cars sell for around 15 k and some for closer to 20k
