1999 International Bus 3000 Special Education Bus

My wife and I had always wanted to build a skoolie and the stars aligned in the summer of 2020. COVID quarantining had brought the busyness of our lives to a grinding halt and the school division I work for had to retire one of it’s handicap buses because of a rotted and compromised floor that could no longer safely anchor wheelchairs and replacing the floor was not worth the effort it would take. After purchasing the bus through our school division’s public auction in October of 2020, the mechanics at the bus garage adjusted the governor to 65 mph and 2750 rpm and gave me all of the maintenance records since it was purchased brand new in 1999. 
After hundreds of hours of work and countless memories on various trips (including a trip visiting the National Parks of the West), our oldest sons have left home and we need to end this chapter in our lives. It would make a wonderfully unique AirBnB!
