1970 Volkswagen Meyers Manx Kick-Out SS

DESCRIPTION
This Meyers Manx Kick-Out SS dune buggy is a very special limited production model. This Meyers Manx Kick-Out SS is number 15 of only 37 made. Included with the buggy is a signed certificate of authenticity. This Meyer Manx is also pictured in Winnie Meyers book “Why Not”.

The car features a Kick-Out SS fiberglass body finished in Just Right Yellow and is powered by a dual-port 1,776cc flat-four and was assembled by Texas Air Cooled of Houston, Texas and features an aluminum case, a Kühltek Motorwerks camshaft, and dual Dellorto carburetors, mated to a four-speed Freeway Flyer manual transaxle. 
This Kick-Out is titled in California as a 1970 Volkswagen.

Additional equipment includes Manxter front and rear bumpers, rear fender vents, dual roll hoops, Cragar 15” wheels inside of NEW BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. 225’s in front and 295’s in the rear, and KYB Gas-a-just shocks at each corner. Creature comforts include an Alpine Bluetooth sound system, low-back bucket seats with latch-and-link lap belts, a BugPack T-handle shifter, and a Grant GT steering wheel, VDO gauges, Custom yellow and black Coco mats, a fire extinguisher mounted behind the seats, and front and rear storage compartments. Special Kick- Out SS surfboard badging.

Note that this rendition of the classic Manx Dune Buggy is much rarer than the thousands that were built in the 60s, which are already considered collectors' items.
