2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen

A rare 2000 SAAB 93 Viggen is up for sale. About 2,900 imported to the U.S from 1999-2002. Consider this your opportunity to own a Legacy from SAABs heritage. This is sought after like the 97-2001 Acura Integra Type R, 97-2000 Civic Type R and  1994-1998 Celica GT4. In model year 2000 a total of 564 Viggen hardtops were built, only 240 of those in silver. 
I purchased this Viggen in 2019 from the previous owner in North Carolina with 153,690 miles.  The previous owner took great care of this Viggen giving it a refresh of paint, new/restored brake calipers etc.  Previous owner gave me the list of previous maintenance history/records and I recorded any maintenance completed with during my ownership.    As a previous SAAB certified technician that worked on these vehicles over 20 years ago it was a privilege to own this car.  This is a fun car to drive with the SAAB quirkiness and the torque steer when putting the accelerator to the floor.  I have only put 400 miles since purchasing. Price is negotiable. It is usually garaged kept and/or covered. I drive the Viggen around the neighborhood or to car meets like cars and coffee took keep the oil and fluids flowing. My intention was preserving this vehicle as much as possible to keep SAABs legacy alive. I have added ceramic coating to the body in 2019 and still has a great shine to her.  I recently completed a brake and clutch fluid flush, front wheel alignment at Bert’s alignment and refreshed the wiper arms.

18 August 2024 Removed turbo to Repair and weld Broken Turbo Support Bracket, repaird broken studs can cleaned threads with tap and die, and repainted turbine housing. Replaced with brass nuts on studs for easier removal and new sealing ring on hard lines to turbo.  154,139 
29 August 2024 Repair broken wire on hood switch sensor. 154,139
30 August 2024 Removed and flushed out Green G05 coolant and replaced with OE G48 Coolant Zerex European formula 154,139
